Description du projet
The experience of living and entertaining out of doors has changed dramatically over the last few years. The garden is now a true extension of the home with so many spectacular outdoor spaces being designed to create the perfect lifestyle.
This inner city courtyard provides a fresh, relaxed environment for the owners, offering somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The beautiful season is so short in Montreal, the owners wanted to be able to enjoy it the longer possible, good or bad weather conditions. That is why Francis Lefebvre, the head designer and director of Montreal Outdoor Living came with the proposition of building a pavilion, which offers all the advantage of being inside but with the fresh feeling of being outside.
The goal was to ensure a seamless flow and bring the outdoors into the home and vice versa. This has been achieved through the use of materials that blend well with those used both into the home and on its outside.
“Consultation and continued development of ideas is paramount in designing the right outdoor space for every client. That’s why we present several ideas during the concept stage, which were presented in a 3D format giving the clients a clear vision of how their garden would look and function,” says Francis Lefebvre.
This inner city courtyard has been transformed into a stunning living area which allows the owners to spend as much time outside as they wish to.
